Junk Removal Questions, Answered Straight

How is junk removal priced?

By truck space. Single items run $100–$120, and jobs scale by how much of the truck you fill — a full truck (about 3–4 pickup loads) runs $550–$700. Heavy material like concrete prices by weight instead. The price is confirmed before we load anything.

Do I need to be home?

Only for quote confirmation if the pile is inside. If everything's staged in the driveway or backyard and we've confirmed scope by photo, we can do contactless pickup and send the after-photo.

How fast can you come?

Usually within 24 hours at standard pricing. Same-day is a flat $100 rush fee — call before noon for the best odds.

Do you take fridges and freezers?

Yes. They contain refrigerant that must be legally recovered before disposal — handled through our disposal route and built into the price. Empty the food, tape the doors.

What happens to my stuff?

Sorted three ways: usable goods to donation, metal and e-waste to recycling, true junk to a licensed landfill or transfer station in the metro. Never a vacant lot. Ask where your load went and we'll tell you.

Why was another company's quote so much cheaper?

Ask them three questions: Is disposal included? Where does the load go? Is the price final before loading? Cheap quotes usually fail one of the three — the classic move is a low phone quote that grows once your stuff is halfway on their truck.

Do you do hoarding cleanouts?

Yes, with zero judgment and an unmarked-truck option. Quoted in person. Contamination, pests, or biohazards carry a hazard fee disclosed before starting — never after.

Can you take stuff from inside / upstairs / the backyard?

Yes — inside the house, up or down stairs, over the wall from the back gate. That's the point of full-service, and it's included in the quoted price.

Do you take paint or chemicals?

Legally, no hauler can put those in a mixed load. But Bernalillo County has free household hazardous waste drop-off — see our disposal guide for the full where-it-goes list.

Do you offer landlord / property manager rates?

Yes — recurring turnovers get priority scheduling and volume pricing. Call and ask.
